The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), also known as the One Belt and One Road Initiative (OBOR), is a development strategy proposed by Chinese Government that focuses on connectivity and cooperation between Eurasian countries. It is short for the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st-century Maritime Silk Road.

Responding to BRI, DDTS expanded business further in the Middle East and set up a wholly-owned subsidiary in Saudi Arabia. DDTS and SABIC signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with duration of five years, covering the scope of system implementation and development, engineering data delivery and maintenance, data processing, and drawings conversion, etc.
